Sonically evoking an inspirational brand that is always moving and ahead of its time.
After its visual rebranding, Vivo developed its sound DNA strategy in a project led by Soundthinkers. Mirroring its new visual identity, Vivo’s sound language is designed to unify every expression of the brand through sound across its different product lines and touchpoints, creating both differentiation and recognition in a competitive landscape. The sound codes used reflect the essence of simplification and connection. In its musical elements, electronic textures inspired by current musical scenes are incorporated, ensuring their presence across all touchpoints and evoking innovation. Meanwhile, the brand's voice adopts an inspirational tone, translating into vocal characteristics that combine modernity with a light, contemporary approach. It is through this comprehensive sound strategy that Vivo presents its new sound logo and sonic manifesto—a powerful invitation to connection and transformation. More than just a sound signature, this new identity is a call to reflect on what connects us: technology, nature, and, above all, humanity. The sound logo and musical theme were co-created and coordinated by the Soundthinkers team in partnership with Alok, one of the world’s leading electronic music artists, extending the overarching sound strategy. Both the Sound Logo and the manifesto combine organic and modern elements that translate Vivo’s values and essence into a unique sensory and emotional experience.
Sound Logo and Brand Theme
This signature is inspired by Vivo’s own name, transforming it into a musical expression with two notes that sound in a cadenced and memorable way, encouraging reflection on the conscious and healthy use of technology. Inspired by natural sounds and the search for a deeper connection with what is fundamentally human, Alok and the Soundthinkers team created sound textures that bridge the organic and the technological. Flutes, percussions, and tones reminiscent of nature intertwine with modern electronic beats and synthesizers, creating a fusion that balances innovation and humanity. Every sound was thoughtfully designed to align with the sound strategy, evoking the essence of a brand that celebrates emotional technology.
