How can we use sound to make a car capable of expressing itself in a surprising way?
Using the Sound Thinking method, we went to explore a gas station and all its environment to search for insights.
With a special team composed by audio, acoustic and tech experts, we studied the business routine from the attendants and clients to the technology available there. Everything to search for an equipment that could surprise clients inside their cars without opening a single door. On this research, we identified an interesting opportunity in a very simple item: the markers that are attached to cars when they are being attended.
A simplicity capable enough to make a real surprise.
In collaboration, our team was able to transform those markers into discrete acoustic devices.
When attached to a car, each marker received and propagated the voice of an actor from outside to inside the car. Without clients realizing where it was coming from.
A surprising solution that gave voice to cars and explained the product to clients with a unique approach, expanding perceptions through sound waves.
