Sound Thinking oriented for SPATIAL
Create sound guidelines of acoustic comfort and environmental sound inside stores, helping the company conquer the LEED seal of sustainability.
How can we minimize possible dissonances on the shopping experience and maximize motivations and emotions through sound in one of Brazil’s biggest retailers?
With the Sound Thinking method, we deeply searched to identify the key-moments in the stores’ shopping experience.
By doing that, we found strategic sound patterns that existed in this experience and how they could influence people in a positive or negative way. Following that, we brought a special task-force with tech and acoustic specialists on board. Our goal was to co-create a solution capable of giving a new meaning to the role of sound to costumers and workers.
At the same time, we wanted to make sure that every acoustic material had a positive impact on conquering the LEED seal.
In a collaborative process, we redesigned the sound journey inside the stores.
We created, developed and implemented clear guidelines to fully redefine the experience in over 200 stores in Brazil.
